High above Tramin and the Unterland
From the Traminerhof, hike uphill via the Höllental valley. Always follow the stream and marker 10. Through the forest, the trail climbs higher and higher and you join the Traminer Höhenweg. Along the way, there are always beautiful viewpoints – also with benches, ideal for a small picnic – from which you have a wonderful view of Tramin and the valley.
Follow the path until you reach Graun, where you can stop for lunch at the Lenzenhof Inn. Delicious South Tyrolean delicacies and a great view of Lake Kaltern. That’s something to be proud of! After your stop, follow the forest road to the Zoggler meadow with its quenching pond and take trail no. 6 through the mixed forest and over hill and dale downhill to Tramin.
