A long panoramic tour without almost any difficult trails
You start from Tramin to Neumarkt and from here always along the cycle path to Bolzano. You have to cross almost the entire city, but don’t worry, you can always stay on the cycle path. Now you have arrived at the valley station of the Kohlerer cable car. With your guest card and a few Euros for your bike ticket in hand, you get 850 meters of altitude for free. Of course, you can also pedal up the 8 km if you’re feeling ambitious.
Once you’ve reached the top, you continue along the European long-distance hiking trail E 5 via the Wölflhof to Deutschnofen and the Laabalm to Neuhütt. We have now reached the highest point of the tour. Now your descent is coming up, sometimes on a gravel road, from Aldein to the Aldein bridge on the asphalt road and then via the Alte Fleimstaler railway line to Neumarkt.
