An educational, adventurous hike awaits you on this tour. The so-called &#8220;Butterloch&#8221; round hike starts at the Geoparc visitor center in Aldein. Alternatively, the hike can also be started at the Geomuseum in Radein. Via trail no. 3 you enter the Bletterbach gorge at the &#8220;Taubenleck&#8221;. From there you go up through the stream bed to the big waterfall at the &#8220;Butterloch&#8221;. A short distance through the gorge back, right over the steep J\u00e4gersteig up to the forest road and on this left back to the visitor center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"breiteSchmal\">The hike through the Bletterbach Gorge is a short journey back in time to the Palaeozoic and Mesozoic eras. 16 information boards explain the different rock layers of this unique canyon at particularly interesting places. The layers were formed 280 million years ago, in the Permian and Triassic periods, and were exposed again by the Bletterbach. In addition, the panels tell of the many valuable finds of charred plants, of fossilized microorganisms, crustaceans and cephalopods, as well as of the numerous tracks of the most diverse dinosaur species. You will also hear about the metal that was mined in the miners&#8217; holes. And last but not least, you will be taken into the world of legends of the &#8220;Goldplatz&#8221; and the giant Grimm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center breiteSchmal border-bottom-1 pb-2
